Refund and Cancellation Policy
This document is published directly from the repository so the in-app legal copy stays in sync with the current release.
Effective date: August 17, 2026
This policy covers paid PlatNum subscriptions. It sits alongside the Terms of Service, which continues to control everything not addressed here.
Cancelling a subscription
- You can cancel at any time from the Billing page, which opens the Stripe Billing Portal.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not end the current billing period.
- Paid access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Your account then returns to the Free product state rather than being closed.
- Cancelling does not delete your account or your saved work. Account deletion is a separate action available on the account page.
Refunds
Whether a charge can be refunded depends on one thing: if it is your first charge on a plan, or a renewal of one.
- First charge on a plan. We refund it in full if you ask within 14 days. This is the same on monthly and annual billing, and it applies again if you later start a different plan.
- Renewal charges. Renewals are not refunded, monthly or annual, and we do not refund the unused remainder of a term. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the charge. Your renewal date is shown in the Stripe Billing Portal.
- Service failure. If a paid feature is unavailable for an extended period through our fault, contact us. We will resolve it with a credit or a refund appropriate to the disruption, regardless of the windows above.
Refunds return to the original payment method through Stripe. Processing time is set by your bank or card issuer.
Beta-period commitments
PlatNum is in an early paid release. Two commitments apply while that is true:
- Plan entitlements that are labeled "coming soon" on the pricing page are not enforced yet. We will not begin enforcing a limit that reduces what your existing plan already does without notifying you first and giving you the chance to cancel and request a refund of the current period.
- If we change plan pricing, existing subscriptions keep their current price through the end of the period already paid for.
Taxes
Tax registration and whether displayed prices are tax-inclusive are not settled. Displayed prices should not be treated as tax-inclusive. Where tax is added at checkout, Stripe shows the final amount before you confirm.
Requesting a refund
Use the support contact published inside the product. Include the account email and the approximate charge date. We aim to respond to refund requests within three business days.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version posted in the app controls, and the version in effect at the time of your charge governs that charge.
