Terms of Service

PlatNum provides parcel screening, zoning summaries, and report-generation workflows for informational use. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Service Scope

• The service helps you screen parcels and compare development scenarios in Whatcom County.
• Outputs are informational and planning-oriented only.
• The service does not replace legal, surveying, engineering, permit, valuation, or investment advice.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate signup information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
• We may suspend access if an account is used to abuse the service or interfere with other users.

Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to break, scrape at abusive volume, or reverse engineer private systems behind PlatNum.
• Do not bypass parcel-view, report, recommendation, county, account, or technical request limits, including by rotating accounts, sessions, or network addresses.
• Do not use automated collection, scraping, crawling, or extraction to assemble a bulk parcel dataset from the service.
• Do not redistribute raw parcel data, reports, recommendations, or modeled outputs in bulk unless an Enterprise contract expressly grants that right.
• Do not use the service to violate law, third-party rights, or contractual obligations.
• Do not misrepresent generated reports as guaranteed, permit-ready conclusions.

Data and Reports

• You retain responsibility for the parcel searches, scenario choices, and report exports you request.
• Reports may be watermarked with the authenticated account identity and generation timestamp. Removing or obscuring that watermark does not expand redistribution rights.
• We may store account activity and generated report snapshots so the service can function, stay secure, and support future account features.

Disclaimers

PlatNum is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim for useful parcel screening, but we do not warrant that every zoning interpretation, data source, or generated output is complete, current, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, PlatNum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-loss damages arising from use of the service.
